The haircut that my friend Robert gave me over a week ago now is holding up great.
On the day it was cut and I took this picture:
Robert had taken like 45 minutes of his time to blow it out to maximum volume and perfect shape.
I thought right away that it would never look that good again – because certainly I don’t have the intention or motivation or patience or SKILL to blow my hair out every once in an EVER.
But then I discovered this little trick. All I have to do to make my hair look good is put the top and sides up in a barrette when it’s wet. I let it dry up, and once it’s dry I take it down and brush it out gently, or just sleep on it.
Then, almost perfect hair. Viola!
Adulting with hair!
