The thing about hearts is, they beat, they bleed, they break. They are brainless, brutal fools. They don’t consider happiness or hurt. They just want what they want. They’ve no consideration for you.

This was written in response to Trifecta’s Trifextra Week 33 writing challenge. This week’s challenge is to write 33 words using the Rule of Three somewhere among them.  It is up to you to interpret the rule, just make sure to use exactly 33 words.

  1. My goodness. I am clicking that star trying to get a higher than one. It brought me down down down. Good thing a refresh brought it back to zero. I will not mess with that star again. 🙂

I was just going to say that this is a lovely take on the prompt and it says a lot of truth about the heart. 🙂

  2. Hearts do throw caution to the wind and rebel against the brain’s common sense – and they do want what they want. (Hey, hearts are a lot like children :))

  3. Three characteristics of the heart – and all b words 🙂 This is SO good. You said so much in 33 words.
